Spring has sprung in Tahoe but did you know you can still ski/ride in the North Lake Tahoe basin through May 27? Palisades Tahoe is open through Memorial Day weekend, which coincides perfectly with Opening Weekend for boating at Lake Tahoe! Who doesn’t love a few sunny spring runs on the mountain, followed by an afternoon or evening cruise on Big Blue?

Here are a few fun spring activities the whole family is sure to enjoy!

Closing Day at Palisades Tahoe

With 8 feet of snow in February and 13 feet of snow in March, Palisades Tahoe will stay open the latest in the Lake Tahoe basin with skiing and riding available through Monday, May 27th! Wear your favorite spring attire – denim cutoffs, floral shirts, and don’t forget your sunnies and sunscreen! Après ski on the KT deck is sure to be a good time. Grab your last Wildflour Baking Company chocolate chip cookie for the season and get ready for a summer of fun at Lake Tahoe!

2024 Made in Tahoe Festival

Don’t miss the chance to celebrate all things local at the Made in Tahoe Festival with Palisades Tahoe on May 25 and 26! Get inspired by chefs, artisans and entertainers showcasing their talents on three different stages at The Village at Palisades Tahoe! Admission is FREE and the mountain backdrop is one-of-a-kind.

There's something for everyone with interactive workshops, arts and pottery, dance games for kids and live music from 11am-5pm all weekend! The latest choreography from the Truckee Dance Factory and Tahoe Flow Arts will capture your attention and have you signing up for a class! You'll also have a chance to fill up on local food and beer made in the heart of the Lake Tahoe Basin by your favorite local vendors. All proceeds from the Made in Tahoe bar benefit Tahoe Food Hub, a local organization that operates as a food and education resource to help community members access food. Tahoe Food Hub aims to get local farmers fair pricing while keeping food accessible and affordable for the local community.
