Music on the Beach with the Whole Family
It will be hard to stay indoors while vacationing at Tahoe so an evening outdoor concert is still in the cards with your children in tow! Throw on a warm sweater, and bring your coziest blanket to the Kings Beach State Recreation Area for their FREE Music on the Beach series! On Friday, July 5th the band Lumanation will take the stage, with their unique sound rooted in classic reggae, and incorporates ska, funk, and rock grooves.
Get Away from It All: Hike, Bike or Paddle
After all the fun hustle and bustle around North Lake Tahoe with fireworks shows, concert series, movie series, fun Truckee River floats with friends and family, you’ll want to get away from it all. To move your body in the fresh air. A time to refresh and gaze at Mother Nature’s peaks and valleys. You can choose from an array of day hikes along the Tahoe Rim Trail, or rent a kayak or Stand Up Paddleboard and launch very early in the morning when the lake is calm and glassy. Or keep that bike rental for an extra day and head out on a mountain bike excursion.
