Easter Brunch
Rise and shine for Easter brunch at Jake’s On The Lake and Sunnyside Restaurant! Celebrate with French Toast, Eggs Benny, Bellinis and more at Jake’s or head to Sunnyside Restaurant for an equally yummy brunch. Meet your family at Granlibakken Tahoe Resort where you’ll be welcomed with a mimosa (champagne served with your choice of juices) or a Granlibakken Easter Punch. Coffee, hot chocolate, and assorted juices are included before you head off to the Easter brunch buffet area.
Egg Hunts
Join other Truckee locals at the Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District Spring Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 31st at Truckee River Regional Park. Bunny arrives at 11AM and the egg hunt starts promptly at 11:30AM. Children will be divided into groups by age, and need to bring their own basket. This is a free event that also features free face painting, candy and prizes!
Hunt for the Golden Egg at Palisades Tahoe for your chance to win a season pass! Let the children run amuck in an on-mountain egg hunt.
Meet the Easter Bunny in Historic Downtown Truckee at Bar of America on Sunday, March 31 from 10:30AM to 1PM. Easter Bunny visits from 11AM to 1PM. Children can take photos with the Bunny, and also enjoy Easter eggs and candy with their visit. Lunch and dinner specials are served along with regular menus, and reservations are highly encouraged.
