Blaze down the slopes in the World’s Largest New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade at Palisades Tahoe on December 31, 2023! Skiers and Snowboarders take to the mountain with colourful LED torches making it look like a moving chain of fire! It’s an annual New Year’s Eve party at Palisades Tahoe and the largest torchlight parade in the world!
The event is FREE and super family friendly! Ages 5 and up can participate and need to be an intermediate skier or snowboarder. LED torches will be given out at the Exhibition chairlift but only to guests with wristbands for their registered timeslot, so jump online now and reserve your place in advance. Then head to the Palisades Tahoe Ticket Office to collect your wristband before the event. The Parade begins at 5pm with 15 minute timeslots taking off until 6:30pm.
The New Year’s Eve festivities heat up after the parade with disco tubing that occurs at 5PM, 6PM, and 7PM. There is a fireworks show and rock concert at 7PM. Grab a drink at Bar One & Plaza Bar while listening to live music. There’s even an East Coast style ball drop taking you into the New Year and a kid friendly balloon drop!
Sandwich your evening of fun with a New Year’s Eve Family Celebration before and after the parade. The Village at Palisades Tahoe has shopping, dining, and more (like yoga classes!) in the village that will be fun for every age in your group. Take advantage of the last New Year’s Eve in this decade and reserve your spot now to participate in the World’s Largest Torchlight Parade! It will be a New Year’s Eve party to remember and one your family will talk about for a lifetime.
